This premium activated Carbon (charcoal) is an excellents addition to your drainage layer. The activated carbon removes unwanted heavy metals, contaminants, pollutants and odours from your closed or open terrarium.
Spread a thin layer over sphagnum moss or clay peddle bottom before adding soil. Your terrarium will emit less odour and water will filter through the activated charcoal and be cleaner for your plants inside your terrarium.
